Mark F Devlin
Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
FDS RCPS MB ChB FRCS (Ed) (OMFS)
Mr Devlin is a consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has a specialist interest in Cleft lip and Palate surgery. He qualified in both dentistry and medicine at the University of Glasgow. His general and maxillofacial training was undertaken in the West of Scotland and North East of England. Additional training for Cleft Surgery was undertaken in South Thames Cleft Unit. His NHS practice involves the assessment and surgical management of complex facial deformity including soft tissue abnormality, facial skeletal deformity and nasal deformity (both congenital and acquired). Mr Devlin has also been awarded and completed a Clinical Research Fellowship by Chief Scientist in Scotland to study nasal deformity in cleft children in Scotland. Other awards include the Scientific medal for best research paper at 2005 Cranio Conference and the TC White prize Lecturer award at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow 2005.
