John R Scott
Plastic Surgeon (MB ChB FRCS FRCS (Plast))
Mr Scott is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with experience in most areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery. The use of microsurgical techniques in both acute and elective procedures has been extensive, allowing the acquisition of considerable ability in this area. Breast reconstructive surgery is his chosen area of subspecialty interest and he has already established experience with all the contemporary techniques of breast reconstruction. Mr Scott first qualified at Dundee University in 1988. He has had several plastic surgery posts both in Glasgow and Edinburgh since qualifying and has been involved in a number of research projects and publications. He is currently Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the Royal Canniesburn Unit and has been with Visage since the launch of the new Plastic Surgery Unit at the beginning of 2007.
