Visage Lifestyle Clinic’s Clinical Director Dr Attiq Rahman graduated in 1994 from Glasgow University and immediately entered into general dental practice. He soon developed an interest in the emerging field of cosmetic dentistry and began a programme of further education which continues to this day. Hundreds of hours of postgraduate training with the very best cosmetic dentists in the world together with his own techniques have ensured that his patients receive the highest standards of care.
Dr Rahman is known as a perfectionist and an excellent communicator and this is reflected in his approach to his clinical work in which he has gained a reputation for meticulous attention to detail.
In 2007 he was recognised by his peers when he beat a field of 450 Cosmetic Dentists to win “Smile Makeover of the Year” at the Private Dentistry Awards in London. His forward thinking approach to dentistry has for many years placed him at the forefront of cosmetic dentistry in Scotland and his client list includes some of Scotland’s best known TV personalities.
He is also heavily committed to charitable work and has donated his services to “One 4 Kids”, “Zero Tolerance”, “National Children’s Hospice” “Scottish Spina Bifida Association” “Action Medical Research” and “The Women of Influence Awards”.
From opening its doors in November 2005 with six members of staff and no patients, Dr Rahman has lead the Visage Lifestyle Clinic to unprecedented success. The clinic now boasts 20 staff and well over 3500 clients.
The clinic has been awarded the following accolades:
“Most Innovative Practice of the Year 2006” at the Private Dentistry Awards.
This was quickly followed by two more awards at the Dentistry awards
“Best New Practice in Scotland 2006”
“Best New Practice in the UK 2006”
And more recently at the Private Dentistry awards
