When I first went to the Visage clinic the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made me feel more relaxed and at ease.

The dental treatment which I received was excellent, I felt completely confident in letting Dr Rahman do the invasive procedure. He talked me through the process in great detail and showed me some of his previous work which gave me great self-assurance in him. The results were amazing and I was 100% happy with the end product. It has boosted my confidence greatly and I now get compliments on how nice my teeth are which feels great!

I am delighted to have been asked to share my recent experience of cosmetic dentistry at the Visage Lifestyle Clinic. The clinic was recommended to me by my husband who had undergone extensive dental treatment last year.

My teeth and gums were beginning to cause me discomfort and were losing their youthful appearance. My gums were bleeding all the time and I felt that if I did not have treatment carried out, I would lose most of my teeth. The appearance of my teeth was affecting my confidence and self esteem, I hardly ever smiled in photographs.

On my initial contact with the clinic, my enquiry was dealt with in a warm, friendly but professional manner. On my first appointment, I spoke of my fear of the dentist and was treated in a very sympathetic way by Mr Rahman. We discussed in great detail, what my treatment would entail and how I could manage each stage of the treatment. I felt reassured and excited at the change that was to happen with my smile.

At each appointment, the reception staff were friendly, made me feel at ease, yet kept the professional standard that I came to expect from the clinic. I was also impressed by the treatment that I had from the dental hygienist. It is a team effort at the clinic and all members of the team work well together to promote the positive ethos of the clinic.

I am delighted with my new smile. It has given me back my confidence and I no longer cover my mouth when having close conversations with people. Many of my friends and colleagues have noticed that there is something different about me and they think that I am looking younger!!

From my first consultation I was put at ease with friendly well informed staff and pleasant but professional surroundings.

The entire process was outlined and explained thoroughly in lay terms and I was always kept fully aware of progress and the associated risks and benefits. Mr Rahman would at all times recommend what he felt the best action was, but would take time to detail how and why he had arrived at his conclusions. For what could have been an intimidating process, this made all the difference.

I have always looked after my teeth, and was really worried when I was told by a dentist that I had lost enamel from my front teeth due to drinking fruit juices and other acidic drinks, and that there was nothing I could do. I was still experiencing a lot of painful sensitivity in my front tooth and to the side of top set of teeth. I was really worried I may lose my front tooth. I decided to get a second opinion and knew of Visage and Mr Rahman through the many articles they had with our paper. I was so worried that I may have been wasting Mr Rahman's time, I considered cancelling my appointment - I am so glad I didn't. When I explained my problem, Mr Rahman asked me what I thought before getting me to sit in the chair and examine me. Although in the past I have always paid for private dental care, I don't think I have ever experienced the sort of high stands you would expect until I was treated by Mr Rahman. His examination was the most gentle I have ever had. He immediately diagnosed my problems as receding gums and instantly reassured me that my case as very mild. However, he still took the time to explain what the treatment would be in very severe cases which enabled me to see why I would not need this treatment. He explained what would be the appropriate treatment and said that he was happy to do it for me there and then if I was to proceed. I was so relieved and delighted my problem was manageable. He put a dental varnish on the affected areas to kick-start my treatment. Again I can honestly say I have never felt so relaxed at the dentist.

Mr Rahman has a sensitive, intuitively healing touch that is almost meditative.

After my treatment he took time to answer all my question and concerns, repeating what my after care should be and explained how it would work. Even though my problem was a minor one, he took the time to reassure me and I genuinely felt as if he cared about my teeth. If I had any more problems Mr Rahman urged me to come back. I know I can contact him with any problems in the future, no matter how small, and I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is, without doubt, the best dentist I have ever received treatment from.

Considering the amount of dental work I had at Visage (gum lifting, veneers, crowns and deep bleaching) I was absolutely delighted that there was no discomfort at any given point during any of the treatments. When people think of a trip to the dentist it is usually a cold and harrowing experience but this little gem situated in the heart of Glasgow is ambient, chilled, laidback and memorable.
