I would like to tell you a little about Cosmetic Dentistry with a view to explaining how we achieve the results that have won us the Smile Makeover of the Year Award in the UK and transformed the lives of many of our patients.
At Visage we believe that there are three key people involved in the process of Cosmetic Dental Enhancement and it is absolutely vital that these three people meet and understand each other at every stage of treatment:
The most important person is you, the patient - you provide the vision and the inspiration, you guide the team as to how you wish your smile to look.
The second person in the team is me, the Cosmetic Dentist - I will be the architect of your smile makeover. I will dedicate my experience and skill to devising and implementing a treatment plan which will deliver your perfect smile. I have fifteen years of experience in Cosmetic Dentistry and have helped many thousands of happy patients.
The third and in some ways pivotal member of the team is the Ceramist whose job it is to take instruction from both me and you to physically make the veneers, crowns or bridges and therefore create your perfect smile. The skills and artistry of our Ceramist make the difference between a lacklustre artificial result and a truly beautiful natural smile.
Most practices do not have their own ceramist and instead use commercial dental laboratories where the ceramist never gets the opportunity to meet the patient, or indeed even the dentist. This means that the Ceramist is effectively working blind and this would obviously be clearly reflected in the results.
