Easy TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) Peel

The Procedure
The skin is cleansed with a specific Skin Tech cleanser and then the TCA peel is applied to the skin using cotton buds. The patient will experience some heat or irritation throughout the application until the first signs of "frosting" are apparent. At this point the post peel cream is applied which takes the heat out of the skin within a few seconds. The whole procedure takes about 20 minutes and the patient can leave after a light dusting of mineral dust make-up has been applied to camouflage any redness should they need it.
Post Treatment
- Slight heat in the skin for a couple of hours after the treatment
- Tightening of the skin
- Skin shedding from approx day 3 - for 3 or 4 days
- Stay out of the sun for a minimum of two weeks
- Wear a high Sun Protection Factor of at least 30 for minimum of two weeks
